Which widget should I start with?

The projectile launcher, unless the lesson is a free-body diagram, an incline, or a collision. Each widget page has its own snippet.

Embed a simulation in Moodle

In Moodle, edit the page with the HTML editor, paste the snippet, and save. Allow HTML if your role needs it. The simulation runs in the student browser.

Pick a simulation on the widgets hub, or start with the projectile launcher widget. Classroom notes: teachers. Guide: projectile motion.

Steps

Copy the snippet from the widget page, caption included.
Edit the Moodle page or book chapter in HTML mode.
Paste and save, then view as a student.
