AP Physics practice problems

Problem sets grouped the way the exam groups them, each problem paired with a full worked solution that stays closed until you open it. Every number is recomputed before it ships, and every solution shows the substitution rather than jumping to the answer.

Working problems is the part of studying that actually moves a score, so these sit next to the guides that teach the method and the calculators that check your arithmetic. Your saved attempts and self-scores appear in your Learning Passport.

Put missed question families first.

Adaptive review reads the practice history already saved in this browser and builds a deterministic eight-question session around misses, low-confidence families, and new skills.

Teachers can build a fixed account-free assignment link from these reviewed question families.

Answer, check, repeat

Generate a new practice question

Choose any of the four AP Physics courses, answer one question at a time, and get the complete calculation immediately. Generate another version when you want to test the same skill with new values.

Draft, compare, self-score

Practice a complete free-response question

Work through an original multi-part question, then open the full solution and score each rubric point yourself. Filter by course and response type, or generate another version with new values.

Released College Board questions

Use College Board's current archive for the newest public FRQs and scoring files. These older public PDFs remain on College Board's own servers. PhysicsLearn links to them and does not copy or rehost them.

AP Physics 1 changed in the 2024 to 2025 school year. Older questions remain useful for overlapping concepts and reasoning, but they do not completely match the current exam.

Reviewed problem sets

Use these longer sets when you want a fixed sequence with every solution available in the page.
